Join our Executive Committee

Commonwealth Youth New Zealand is inviting applications from dedicated, driven and outstanding young people to join our Executive Committee.

About the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is tasked with the role of promoting Commonwealth education and understanding through a range of established programmes such as the national Student CHOGM, Commonwealth Campaign and Commonwealth Day, informing the membership about Commonwealth activity via social media, identifying new programmes and members events.

The term of the current Leadership team and Executive Committee concludes at the end of 2019.

About the appointment process

Members of the Executive Committee are appointed by the Board of CYNZ. We are inviting applications from young professionals and students for an Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Committee members. If you're passionate about creating inspiring educational events and programmes, and helping young people unlock their leadership skills, we want to hear from you!
We can guarantee a fun, challenging and fulfilling experience working on a major volunteer event with a 38-year history in New Zealand, and getting to experience organising and attending an event within the New Zealand Parliament. As these are volunteer roles they will not be remunerated, but the successful candidates can receive a recommendation letter from CYNZ.
